Once you know the date that your vessel is due at the port of Brisbane you can contact us via phone or email with relevant details so that we can start preparing for a collection. We will find out which wharf your ship will be docking at and arrange to collect your shipping container on your behalf. We will the necessary slot so that we can collect your container on time before any storage charges are incurred. We require various documents from you as an importing client so that we can complete the process correctly.
When you book your import collection with us we’ll ask you if there are any special instructions or requirements such as which way doors need to be facing when we deliver and unload your container at its destination and opening and closing hours.
If you don’t have the room at your site for a container we can deliver it to a temporary site so you can arrange it to be collected and transported to its final destination. Another option is our driver can wait at the drop off site until your team unpacks it, we’ll then take the container back to the shipping company for you.
If you need quarantine services we can assist. We are a QAP (Quarantine Approved Premise) 1.1 and 11.2 and have a quarantine section in our warehouse. We can provide tailgate inspections, fumigations, and quarantine washes where required by quarantine authorities. We have a designated field area for the purposes of fumigation. Fumigation is typically done on used machinery such as graders and tractors.
Whatever your situation, we can take care of the entire process for you. Just call or email our office any time between 6:00am and 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
